3 Things About Me:

  1. I’m left-handed
  2. I used to play the guitar (not very well though, that’s why I quit 😅)
  3. I have a brother

I haven’t been blogging for long, but I think my best post is either my Book Blog Newbie Tag or Books That Made Me Cry.

Brooke’s Questions:

A few things that you think are the best about blogging (Such as meeting new people)

I really like that I can talk about anything bookish related that I want besides reviews. I’ve already said this in my first pos and I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but on Goodreads the content that you can do is very limited, which is not something I experience on my blog. Also, it’s a great way to express my creativity and meet other readers 🙂

Name 5 things you couldn’t live without and a little bit why

Oooh, this is tough… hmm…. 5 things? Well, the first two that come to mind are my phone and my computer. I use them for so many things: school, reading, being online… so I couldn’t imagine never using them again.

The second answer is pretty obvious: books! I really don’t know what I would do with my life if I couldn’t read 🤔😆

I definitely couldn’t live without music – I listen to it a lot, whether I’m sad, happy, angry or nervous – since it always makes me feel better. Some of my favourite singers are Shawn Mendes and, as of recently, Joshua Basset!

Finally, this one is gonna sound weird, but….. ASMR. I know a lot of people find it creepy or unnerving, but it personally helps me relax. I sometimes listen to it while I’m reading, though most of the time it’s before I go to bed to “set the mood” if you will, i. e. make me more sleepy.

Name 3 books you will never forget

I’ve already talked about two of these books before on my blog: The Sky Is Eveywhere by Jandy Nelson and The Way I Used To Be by Amber Smith. They’re some of my favourite and they deeply impacted me as a reader and as a person too.

On the other hand, a book I completely despise and stil haven’t managed to erase from my memory is Call Me By Your Name by André Aciman. I have many issues with this novel, but the main one is that, in my opinion, it features an innapropriate age gap relationship between a 17 and 24-year-olds. Besides that, it also has a scene which is famously called the peach scene and that I definitely did not need in my life. Believe me when I say you don’t wanna know what it entails *shudders*.

What is something that you have done, can do, or a place you have been where not many people can do/go?

A couple of years ago I got to go to Disneyland Paris for the first time! It was so beautiful and so much fun and I’m so grateful I was able to have that experience.

A book you really want to buy!

There are so many… starts wishfully thinking about all the beautiful books on my Goodreads TBR, but one that I am dying to get my hands on is Cool For the Summer by Dahlia Adler. It’s a YA contemporary novel with a bisexual MC and a love triangle with another girl and a boy – it sounds like my PERFECT BOOK. Unfortunately, it only comes out in May. However, the moment it’s on sale, I’m for sure buying a physical copy ASAP (side note: is it just me or there are so many amazing books coming out in May??).

I tag:

Cait @ Cait’s Books ┃April @ Booked Till Midnight ┃Jan @ thedoodlecrafter ┃Jess @ crowing about books ┃Lais @ The Bookish Skies ┃Ritz @ Living, Loving and Reading ┃Ella @ ella isn’t reading┃Daniella @ Reading With Daniella ┃Lia @ Chain of Novels ┃Ally @ Ally Writes Things

My Questions:

  1. What is an assumption people make about you that isn’t true at all?
  2. What is a movie/TV series adaptation that you think is actually better than the book?
  3. What is your least favourite character of all time?
  4. Do you plan any instruments? If not, would you like to?
  5. What is a book everyone seems to hate but you love?

I hope you enjoyed reading my answers!

    1. Thank you!
So it took me a while to figure it out, but it turns that you can only have things on your sidebar if the theme you choose for your blog allows you to have a sidebar. If it does, you do it like this: appearance » widgets » sidebar » add widget » search for image » click on that option » upload image.
Unfortunately, some blog themes don’t have an option to have a sidebar and, in that case, you can only add one with a plug in which you have to pay for (I have no idea how plug ins work though). I hope this was helpful!

  2. Thank you so much for the nomination, Susana! 💕💕

I totally agree about being able to talk about bookish things other than reviews! It’s why I started my blog, too! I wanted to talk about so many book-related things, but didn’t have another outlet for that
